Hotel Reservation

	I plan to attend the planner group meeting on the 8th of May.
Could you make a reservation for me at the Pacific Shore Hotel
for the evening of Thursday, May 7th?  (My travel agent was unable to.)
As I may not arrive until late, could Rand guarantee the room?
Finally, I would prefer a room away from the street.

Barbara Lacy has confirmed a late arrival for May 7th at the Pacific
Shores hotel (confirmation #156-11931).

The hotel no longer has the shuttle service from LAX.  However, there
is a service called Santa Monica FLIGHTLINE that leaves LAX and goes
to various hotels in Santa Monica.  On the weekdays, it leaves LAX
every 45 minutes past the hour.  The first departure from LAX to Santa
Monica is at 7:45am and the last departure from Santa Monica to LAX is
9:00pm.  On the Weekends, it runs every hour and a half, the first
departure from Santa Monica is at 7:00am and the last departure is at
3:00pm.  It costs $6.00 one way, and $10.00 roundtrip.

The last flight on weekdays leaves LAX at 9:45pm.  On Saturday, the last
departure to LAX from Santa Monica is at 3:15pm, and on Sunday the last
departure to LAX from Santa Monica is at 9:00pm.

having a reservation for friday nite seems prudent now, but
plan dynamically on friday (prior to the 6pm point when you have
to pay for cancellation (or whenevery it is)).
